The weekly introduction: This story is for Friday Fictioneers that is hosted by Rochelle Wisoff-Fields.

Friday Fictioneers is a group or arrangement that works as follows: Every week you get a picture. Prompted by that picture, you write a piece of fiction that is 100 words long (or as close as you can get). You add a link to your story on the Fictioneers page, and read the (awesome) stories by the other Friday Fictioneers.

Feel free to join us! Everyone is welcome.

Titled: Idolatry

Am I really suppose to believe this is the, “Holy One?”

Any true Christian can see that this is just a two-headed snake disguised as man, trying to persuade me, with his very best work at hand. Oh, my is that a heart? Every true Christian knows that the true heart is on the inside, not on the outside for all to see.  The yellow vase gives off no light to this dark charade.

Those nails reveal no blood to the nails that shed His innocent blood. You fake!

Thou must not serve any other God? That’s idolatry!

Claire Fuller (artist) nice piece of artwork here. Very unique, I thought.
