Don't worry about other people's opinions of you. God never told you to impress people; only to love them. - Dave Willis

How many times do you stress over another’s thought of you? How often do you seek approval from others, but can care less what God thinks? Be honest. Sometimes we can put our heart right in another’s care, and watch them throw it away or stump on it like a piece of concrete.  Every pounding blow sucking the life right out of us. We put our hope, and trust in others who are just like us. At least in God’s sight we are all on equal ground.

But it happens more than we care to share. Someone has a thousands of followers, and you may have few. Yet, you’re looked down upon or feel unworthy against the person with the thousands of followers. You began to lose hope and feel useless, and unworthy to others and God. You believe, He favors them over you. Not so. You see when we all die, we will have dirt thrown upon us. But the irony of that is while we are alive we will have dirt thrown upon us too.  The difference is while we are alive we can shake the dirt off!

I don’t live to impress others. Impress today and depress tomorrow, really not my cup of tea. That is a miserable life to live. I seek to impress God by giving back what He  has forwarded to me in advance, back to others through my gifts and love for Him. If my gifts don’t impress anyone then I’m on the right path.  Why? Because I’m not trying to win over God’s children. They belong to God, not me.  I’m just trying to love them without prejudice, ridicule, or judging as Christ does for me.  When you began to look to the world for numbers, rewards, hope, love and security. Oh boy you got problems!!

Look to God and impress God not man. God asks us to forgive others, which is no instant act. You put forth the decision to forgive, and then you ask God for help. Then the baby steps begin. Next we are to love them. Is it not always easy to love someone who betrayed you? Or raped you? How about the person who ignores you? Like I said, it is not easy. Not suppose to be. Why? We were created to depend on God, so we don’t try to become God! We need His help to truly forgive, and love the difficult and unloved. Don’t let no one make you think it’s easy. Saying you forgive is the first step to healing. I mean some of us are still trying to love ourselves or accept our own bodies.

We were created to love, which means to me to G-I-V-E back to others what they lack, and we need. When we love it requires planting our feet, reaching out to others and lifting them up in prayer. So try loving another genuinely, and not impressing them. You cannot please others, you will be miserable and empty. People who impress live off numbers, followers on social medias, the dollar amounts in their bank account, the debt of owning a car or house they can’t afford just to feel like somebody, or to impress.  I believe a many lose their life seeking prosperity than facing their adversities. In other words people who live to impress for fame, status and popularity consistently look for peace in something, or someone. It will never happen. Satisfaction is merely for a moment.

Our riches is in Christ are forever. Our peace, hope and trust should be Christ! Stop trying to impress a world that don’t know you, because it didn’t create you. The same people who we sometimes call family and friends. Are the same people who will bless you, and pray for you. While if you start climbing the ladder they will be the same ones who will rob and curse you. My point is trust only God! Sometimes people want the best for you, but only if they have double of what you have first. They must be on higher ground before they can be happy for you, or contribute.

The irony to me is that the same God that blesses, heals and loves me. Is the same God that you pray too. So if He blesses me then He will bless you. God blesses us based on our maturity to handle it. Sometimes we are tested in our walk in advance like a loan. Question? If you were blessed with a million dollars today, would you still blog for Jesus? Or would you totally, forget the blog and say God has moved you to higher ground? Or would you pay someone else to post for you? To impress God is to be loyal, honest, forgiving, giving and loving no matter your situation, or the size of your account. Of course seeking Him for guidance, strength, and directions is a must. Everything belongs to God, including your life. Accept Christ, or accept life in hell on earth and thereafter. That’s reality!

The riches of the World will never compare to the riches of Christ!

Ephesians 4:31-32 31 Let all bitterness, and wrath, and anger, and clamour, and evil speaking, be put away from you, with all malice:

32 And be ye kind one to another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God for Christ’s sake hath forgiven you.

May you love like Jesus which entails being in a relationship with Him, daily.
