Welcome! Come sit and rest in the Lord and be encouraged today!
This blog is about living for today, and not allowing your past to dictate your future. A spiritual pick me up to get your day started!
In my past situations, and still to this very day; I realize God will use our circumstances to bring us to a place of spiritual maturity, confidence and total dependency on Him. Sometimes, we cannot not see past the obstacles of life and the storms of pain!
But over time I have learned not to look at my past and current situations and conditions. This is hard at times to do, but I say to you become a better Christian, a better mother, father, brother, sister, friend, or leader. How do you accomplish this? By becoming a better person and not a bitter person!
I encourage you even when things don’t go according to your plans. Remember, God has a plan that is so much better for you. If you will just trust Him; you will not be disappointed in Him. I will be sharing my earthly experiences, spiritual transformations, thoughts, and encouraging and reminding you to, Be Better and Not Bitter! Your experiences or stories are welcomed too.
Enjoy & Be Encouraged…
“When life give you lemons, don’t throw them back, make lemonade, and be renewed and refreshed.” It’s BitterSweet …. Shenine

Thank you so very much for this shared thought. Sometimes just a few words at the right time can mean so very much to someone you have never met in person. However, with the promise from our Lord, One day we will met and I will share with you just how much this met to me at this time in my life.
God Bless You,

Hi Shenine thank you for visiting us, I like your blog it’s very pleasant to view.
I always give thanks that God tells us He does not cause suffering and hardship but yes as you shared He can bring good from it but I’m also very grateful that He stays with us and cares for us in the Storms of Life we are never alone.
I don’t believe in holding onto bitterness it’s like making poison for those who hurt you but drinking it yourself.
I Love the reassurance of the Scriptures below I never feel fleshy fear about God, I Love and respect Him.
Lamentations 3: 33 For He doth not afflict willingly nor grieve the children of men.
Isaiah 43:1-3 – Do not be afraid, for I have ransomed you. I have called you by name; you are mine. When you go through deep waters and great trouble, I will be with you. When you go through rivers of difficulty, you will not drown! When you walk through the fire of oppression, you will not be burned up; the flames will not consume you. For I am the LORD, your God, the Holy One of Israel, your Saviour.”
Jeremiah 29 :11-12 For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says the LORD, thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you a future and a hope.
Christian Love Anne.

Anne,
Isaiah 43:1-3 speaks to me. He has called us by name. He knows everything about us, even the things we don’t know about ourselves yet. Who would not want to know this Holy One?
Thank you for stopping by and fellowshipping. Come again my sister.

I was thinking about your love for Butterflies Shenine, I love them too, sadly some think they are just wings and things that flutter by without purpose but all God’s creation is awesome as He is Awesome and He doesn’t make junk. I have a wonderful story about Butterflies and I linked it back to you this time, I have posted it before but I wanted to bless you. Maybe you have heard it but it always touches my heart every time I read it.

Shenine, you are so right on! In the world we live in today there is opportunity to harbor resentment and let it entangle you, choking the life out of those who don’t deal with its ramifications. Thank you for blogging on such important issues, issues that the evil one uses to keep us from loving God and love each other!
In His amazing love from one who has been redeemed by extravagant love!
