Today belongs to God, so I need not fear because scripture tells me He is very near.
Today belongs to God, in every way, and so as I arose from my bed, I began to pray.
First for others, then family and friends. As for myself, I placed my heart in His hands.
Today belongs to God, and I know He knows what’s best, so by just trusting Him and
focusing only on today alone; I know I shall pass the test. Scripture reminds me again
God is the Master in times of stress, and cleaning up our unthinkable mess.
Yes, someone will say something rude, or throw up a middle finger or two, but I’m not
to mimic the world, or respond in bitterness or hate, just be mindful of who holds my
eternal fate. Someone will gossip about me, and possibly say the most hurtful things .
But I will follow Luke 6:27 “But I say to you who hear, Love your enemies, do good to those who hate you.
Remember today belongs to God, you belong to God, I belong to God, so I will open
my mouth and sing praises to a Holy King. Not because I’m more Holy, or better than
you, but because scripture has taught me just what to do.
Your word is a lamp to my feet and a light to my path. Psalms 119:105
Isaiah 12: 1-6 You will say in that day: “I will give thanks to you, O Lord, for though you were angry with me, your anger turned away, that you might comfort me. “Behold, God is my salvation; I will trust, and will not be afraid; for the Lord God is my strength and my song, and he has become my salvation.” With joy you will draw water from the wells of salvation. Sometimes you must walk away from others, not because you don’t care or love them, but because they don’t care . Forgiving them, and praying for them is the right thing to do. I decided to go to the SPA today….Will you join me for about 30 minutes, or longer. My Spa looks a little different though to some of you.

This is a very inspirational and encouraging letter/poem, Shenine. Your acronym for SPA really gave me something to look forward to doing. I’ve never been to an actual spa before but this one beats it hands down simply because of all the benefits one can gain from attending. Your TAGS really shine in this dark world. I’m inspired and encouraged by you and the gifts and ministry the Lord has brought into your life. Your strength, love, passion and drive does not go unnoticed. The scripture brought to my mind right now for you is “And let us not grow weary while doing good, for in due season we shall reap if we do not lose heart. Therefore, as we have opportunity, let us do good to all, especially to those who are of the household of faith.” Galatians 6: 9-10 NKJV
You indeed are Blessed and Highly Favored. I have seen the Lord work in your life since we’ve met. I am honored to be your friend and sister in Christ. Be encouraged, filled, strengthened and full of hope, joy and peace. God is an awesome God!
